Communities of Practice – how we work

Our global community of staff, students and partners work in a connected way to create knowledge and put it into action.

Communities of Practice are learning-oriented groups that draw on different perspectives, skills and expertise. In these groups, we develop creative ideas, learn from each other and put our strategic thinking into action.

This collaborative way of working helps us to find new, innovative and sometimes radical ways of doing things.

How we make things happen

— Strategic Communities of Practice are aligned to key priorities and sponsored through the University Executive Team

— Local Communities of Practice support our integrating themes to deliver priority work

— They are central to our collaborative culture and embedded in our approach to projects and initiatives.
